Partial-Chip Systems – Diamond Effects

Our basic floor coatings, the Deluxe and Premium, are known as “partial-chip” coating systems. They use thermoplastic chip blends, either polyvinyl acetate or PVC, which are spread in different thicknesses. The Deluxe system does not have a clear coat, making it unsuitable for garage installations. On the other hand, the Premium system includes a single clear topcoat. Moving on to our more advanced options, we have the Diamond Effects and Stone Silicate coating systems. These are considered the “next-level” partial chip coatings, similar to the Premium system but with one key difference. The chip blends in these systems incorporate both thermoplastic and mica stone flakes. While the thermoplastic chips add color and contrast, the mica flakes provide a reflective sparkle that is not achievable with thermoplastic-only flooring.
